In his speech at the oath-taking ceremony, President Tatar stated that the independent judiciary of the TRNC is being successfully carried out, and added, “The duty of each judge in their future role is to make the correct decisions in the hearings based on their conscience and free will, as sworn."

President Tatar, emphasizing the importance of the independence of the judiciary in the TRNC, wished success to Supreme Court Judge Fatma Şenol Bedevi in her new role. 

In his speech, Supreme Court President Bertan Özerdağ stated that he continues to serve by carrying out the necessary work to establish a better judiciary. 

After the speeches, the biography of Fatma Şenol Bedevi, who was appointed as a Judge of the Supreme Court, was read.

Then, Fatma Şenol Bedevi took her oath by placing her hand on the Quran and began her new duties.
